Verified iGaming licences and operators, from primary sources

Check what a regulator actually authorises, which legal entity holds the licence, which domains it has declared and what remains unverified. Every fact carries its source and the date we read it.

What the UK register shows today

Kompanion's own counts from the four files the UK Gambling Commission publishes. The Commission does not publish these totals itself; the method is in how we verify licences.

MeasureCount
Businesses in the register2,633
Businesses with at least one active licence activity2,145
Businesses with an active remote licence for casino, bingo or betting225
Active licences by typeNon-Remote: 1,674 · Remote: 680 · Ancillary Remote: 446
Licence activities by statusActive: 3,650 · Surrendered: 645 · Pending: 124 · Revoked - Non Payment of Fee: 49 · Lapsed: 27 · Revoked: 8 · Suspended: 2
Domains declared by licensees2,224 (Active: 1,063, Inactive: 808, White Label: 353)

About one declared domain in six carries the status "White Label" (353 of 2,224). They sit with 34 licensees, and the five largest hold 276 of them:

  • Jumpman Gaming Limited: 129 white-label domains (profile)
  • ProgressPlay Limited: 95 white-label domains (profile)
  • Skill On Net Limited: 19 white-label domains (profile)
  • White Hat Gaming Limited: 19 white-label domains (profile)
  • Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited: 14 white-label domains (profile)

The register uses the status without defining it, so we report it as listed. A white-label domain is still the licensee's responsibility: the business named in the register is the one that holds the licence, whatever brand the site carries.

What changed this week

Change tracking starts with the snapshot of 26 October 2026. Each weekly import is compared with the previous one; status changes, removals and renames are published only after an editor confirms them against the register.

A market licence lets you serve that country's consumers; a hub licence lets you operate from that jurisdiction, and each target market still needs its own check. Pages in legal review are published but kept out of search until a lawyer has read them.

What comes next

These parts of the section are in preparation. Nothing is listed in them until its sources are in the source registry.

  • Payments. Payment providers, methods and markets, with evidence that a provider accepts iGaming merchants: a published policy, a dedicated product or a named client. Serving high-risk merchants is not counted as evidence.
  • Providers. Platforms, white-label, game studios, KYC and AML tools and testing labs, with the licences and certifications they hold.
  • Markets. One page per country on what it takes to serve its players legally: the licence required, the regulator, permitted products, advertising and payment rules.
  • Research. Recurring studies from register data, starting with how white-label domains are concentrated among UK licensees and how licence statuses change each quarter.

Next jurisdictions after the current review: Ireland, Gibraltar, Ontario and Kahnawake.

What this section is and is not

Kompanion iGaming Intelligence is a reference for founders, suppliers, lawyers, analysts and editors working on regulation, licensing, operators, payments and compliance. It does not review casinos for players, publish bonuses or betting tips, explain how to get around restrictions, or rank operators for players. Nothing here is legal advice or an invitation to gamble. See the editorial policy, the methodology, the commercial disclosure and how to report a correction.
